Depression is a mental disorder that brings about negativity, it makes one empty, sad, and uninterested in almost every activity. Depression is a medical condition that can be inherited, can be due to life events, abuse, personality, psychology, medication addiction, and also triggered by medical conditions.
A depressed person will often feel sad, anxious, inadequate, lose appetite, sleep less, feel useless, and have suicidal thoughts.
How to deal with depression
Acknowledge the fact that you are depressed, and stop living in denial.
know the cause of the depression and try helping yourself.
Meditate on positive things, speak positivity into your life, and do not give room for negative thoughts.
Avoid alcohol intake and smoking
Work on your self-esteem, and build your self-confidence.
Exercise to relieve anxiety.
Eat healthily and sleep well.
Don’t wallow in your problems, talk to people about them.
Write, a diary can be one’s best friend so write as often as possible.
Seek medical help if it worsens ( Therapy).
Get out of your closet and live life to the fullest, go have fun.
