Gym wear: Wear something breathable that is likely not going to trap sweat or body heat,like a tee shirt or tank top alongside with a good sports bra for support. Also wear trousers/pants that are not tight, like a flexible short, biker short, sweat pant, yoga or track pant.
A towel: Always carry a towel to help clean sweat.
Water bottle to stay hydrated while working out
Deodorants should be used before and after workout to help with smell from sweat.
Gym shoes: You should choose your shoes based on the activities you want to join at the gym but I’d recommend a light and breathable shoe for beginners.
Fitness tracker to track your current health progress.
Headphones are good especially if you’re a music person and also if you’re trying to avoid communication with strangers.
Extra clothes and bathing essentials : This is optional and should be considered if you want to have a quick shower at the gym.
Gym bag: This is also optional and should be considered if you have important things to carry to the gym.
Yoga mat: For yoga after working out.
