Gym Essentials for Women

  1. Gym wear: Wear something breathable that is likely not going to trap sweat or body heat,like a tee shirt or tank top alongside with a good sports bra for support. Also wear trousers/pants that are not tight, like a flexible short, biker short, sweat pant, yoga or track pant.

  2. A towel: Always carry a towel to help clean sweat.

  3. Water bottle to stay hydrated while working out

  4. Deodorants should be used before and after workout to help with smell from sweat.

  5. Gym shoes: You should choose your shoes based on the activities you want to join at the gym but I’d recommend a light and breathable shoe for beginners.

  6. Fitness tracker to track your current health progress.

  7. Headphones are good especially if you’re a music person and also if you’re trying to avoid communication with strangers.

  8. Extra clothes and bathing essentials : This is optional and should be considered if you want to have a quick shower at the gym.

  9. Gym bag: This is also optional and should be considered if you have important things to carry to the gym.

  10. Yoga mat: For yoga after working out.
